Boots. Boots can be a fabulous fashion statement; however, there are many cases where they can be ever so wrong. One of the worst boot choices is to wear boots with shorts. Too much denim. While wearing denim can be a style statement, too much and it just becomes old and weary. Wearing jeans, jean shirts and even jean leggings all at once is just far too much denim.

Check those socks. Michael Jackson was probably the only one who could really pull off white socks with black shoes, so just don’t try it. Getting the right combination of socks and shoes can be difficult, so when in doubt wear tights with the skirts.

Finally, make sure your clothes suit your body type. There’s nothing worse than a more curvy person trying to stuff her body into an outfit that was designed for someone a bit thinner or vice versa.
